Description
This small-group class is designed to help students strengthen both reading comprehension and math skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each week we’ll split our time between engaging reading activities and targeted math practice.
Who This Class Is For:
Students entering 3rd and 4th grade

Math Skills We’ll Build
⚡ Math Fact Masters – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fluency
🥷 Word Problem Ninjas – solving multi-step problems with confidence
🍕 Fraction Builders – equivalent fractions, comparing, and visual models
📐 Geometry Explorers – shapes, angles, area, perimeter, and lines
📊 Data Detectives – graphs, charts, surveys, and simple statistics
Reading Skills We’ll Practice
🕵️♀️ Reading Detectives – finding the main idea and supporting details
🔎 Inference Investigators – reading between the lines and making smart guesses
🧩 Story Builders – characters, setting, problem, and solution
💬 Meaning Masters – vocabulary and context clues
🔐 Word Decoding Detectives – breaking apart tricky words using prefixes, suffixes, and syllables
Each class will include interactive instruction, guided practice, and engaging activities designed to build confidence and reinforce essential skills for the upcoming school year.
Students may occasionally need paper, pencil, and basic supplies. Any additional materials will always be communicated ahead of time.
This class is perfect for students who want to review key skills, build confidence, and start the school year strong.
