Jana Murrey
My name is Jana Murrey and I am grateful to have the opportunity to educate your children. I graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Elementary Education. I am proud to come from a family of teachers and educators. I have spent the last 12 years educating students in public and private schools, and I consider it a privilege to teach both academics and virtue in the classroom. As C.S. Lewis says, “Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.”

Michelle Reeves
Hello! My name is Michelle Reeves. I have a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University, and I have enjoyed being a classroom teacher for about 17 years. As I have followed my husband around the country with his military career, I have accumulated experience teaching high school mathematics in rural, suburban, inner city, and private schools. Although I have left the classroom to focus on family, I would love to continue sharing my knowledge by tutoring online. “The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.” ~ Mark Van Doren

Math Amigo is growing and seeking great math educators who are passionate about sharing a love of numbers and logic with kids. Math Amigo teachers work flexible hours from anywhere. They are independent contractors responsible for developing engaging lessons and partnering with parents to move children forward in their learning. Teaching with us is done remotely online through Zoom and could include anything from homework tutoring sessions to full semester courses for homeschool or world school students!
