This is an accelerated summer course, covering Part 1 of 2 of Saxon 7/6

Because this is a summer course, we will move at a faster rate, compared to a fall or spring semester course. We may omit or combine lessons. Each lesson has a practice set and after 10 lessons there will be a cumulative assessment and practice fact test.

We will meet live on Zoom on Monday through Thursday for 1 hour of instruction throughout June and July for a total of 36 classes. Lesson practice (homework) will be assigned after each class. Homework, tests, and fact practice will be completed outside of our live class time. All assignments will be submitted by email. Grading of all assignments is included in this course.

One Payment of $500 or $240 per Month

This course is designed for on-level 6th graders and for 7th graders who need a slower pace or are struggling with math concepts.

Meet Your Teacher

Jana Murrey

My name is Jana Murrey and I am grateful to have the opportunity to educate your children. I graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Elementary Education. I am proud to come from a family of teachers and educators. I have spent the last 12 years educating students in public and private schools, and I consider it a privilege to teach both academics and virtue in the classroom. As C.S. Lewis says, “Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.”

Certification: Early Childhood-6th Grade General Education
